Back to Baby Kalahurka Main Page August 12, 2010 Amelia's First Watermelon
Another video this week. I credit the idea to Aunt Ashley, but you have to admit, it's pretty darn funny. We had a good time last weekend on our quest for a watermelon that would be big enough for this particular type of fun. Click the link below to view (it may take a little while to load).
There is probably some parenting law against that . . . . but I couldn't resist and we made some happy memories.
In addition to watermelon, Amelia has been trying out all kinds of new foods lately. Along with the watermelon, we found some yummy papaya and pineapple at the grocery store last weekend. Also some butternut squash. She's been having papaya/pineapple oatmeal for breakfast. Also some squash, broccoli and cauliflower for dinner. I sort of have to bribe her to eat the veggies though -- if she eats them all, then she gets baby yogurt (her favorite) for dessert. My baby food appliance is getting quite a workout!
Also, Amelia is getting much better with her crawling. I think that we can now say that she is officially mobile.
In other news, I'll be starting a new job next week. My new firm is Fenimore, Kay and Harrison, LLP. Those names probably sound familiar. I think this will be a good move, especially where family is concerned.
