Preparing for Cuteness

We are 19 weeks and counting.  Almost half way.  Almost half way!

This week I received a fun box in the mail from my friend Karen.  Karen has two beautiful little girls and Lorelai, her youngest, has now grown out of some of her infant clothes.  Karen very generously sent the cute clothes (and also some great maternity stuff) my direction.  Tonight, I enjoyed hanging little outfits in Baby's closet.  As I was doing so, I realized that we are accumulating quite a starter wardrobe for Baby.  We are definitely prepared for some serious cuteness!  Here are some photos (and not even of everything) so that you can see what I mean.

We picked out this outfit on the night we found out we were having a little girl.
(Modeled by "Blue," one of the household monkeys)

Some cuteness from Karen and Lorelai (Monkey & Tie-Dye Onsies and Cute Kitty Slippers)
I found the Calculus onsie online and couldn't resist.  She can wear this one to the "office" with Dad.

Another onsie for wearing to work with Dad.
Also some awesome shoes and socks that Bill picked out.

I'm finding that this "nesting" stuff is a lot of fun.

Finally, a couple of other good things this week.  First good thing is that the ol' lungs seem to be functioning properly again.  No more problems in that department.  Second good thing is that Bill got to feel the baby moving last night.  We were watching television in our big red chair, and I noticed that she had been kicking repeatedly in the same place.  I placed Bill's hand on that particular tummy spot and Baby cooperated with an enthusiastic kick.  Bill's response:  "WHOAH!"

These are really good times.
