Music Appreciation

A couple of new things for Amelia this week.  We went to her first kiddo birthday party -- for her friend Leah, who turned ONE.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEAH!.  It was fun to see all of the other kids.

Amelia has been learning new things this week.  The words we have been working on most are "feet" and "arms up."  Bill has been trying to get her to do "arms up" for about six months.  Today, for the first time, something clicked and she raised her arms up above her head.  I think it had something to do with the fact that we were at Football Insanity and there were 7 guys demonstrating for her at regular intervals.

I didn't take many photos this week, but I did get one cute video.  Since Amelia has been born, I have almost completely neglected practicing my music.  My fiddle, especially, is very rusty.  This week, I pulled it out for the first time and, just for kicks, decided to video Amelia's reaction.  From this video you will see that she clearly has a good ear for music.  Already she can differentiate between that which is good, and that which is FAR from good.
