Sleeping Sweetie

I'm getting EXTREMELY pregnant (or at least it feels that way).  This morning, attempting to get out of bed (while bringing Amelia with me) was an extraordinary effort.  If things keep up at this rate, it's going to be a very interesting two months.  We may have to invest in a wheelbarrow . . .

That being said, Bill is being very good about the fact that I've morphed into a bipedal whale.  He has been making an effort to take on more Amelia duty, including giving her a bath each night (which is tricky if you have to bend over the tub with a giant tummy).  Thanks Bill!

Speaking of Bill, he shaved his ENTIRE face yesterday.  Amelia and I almost didn't recognize him! Check it out . . .

We've had a pretty lazy weekend.  Mostly just shopping for supplies and attempting to avoid all of the South X Southwest craziness downtown.  Amelia and I are going to make a trip to San Marcos this afternoon to visit Nanny & Paw Paw.

Amelia has been very happy (and healthy) lately.  I may be jinxing things by saying as much, but it's been over a month since she's been sick with anything (possibly a new record since she started daycare).  She's really a pretty happy kiddo when she's feeling good.  She's been trying out a lot of new sounds this week.  I think she's almost mastered "daddy."  She also says "all done" pretty clearly when she's finished eating and wants out of her highchair.

My photos this week attempt to show Amelia during her sweetest moments -- when she is sleeping.  This state never lasts long though.  This morning, for example, she seemed to know that it was daylight savings.  She woke an hour earlier than normal.  As soon as we came downstairs, she started making her normal mischief -- e.g., raiding the trash.  I threw in a couple of her mishchief photos for good measure.  Enjoy!
