Daddy & Me

Another week past and Amelia is now six weeks old.  She and I have started to schedule some activities out of the house.  It has made life a lot easier for me.  We have had some lunches and outings with Jasper and Clea and Michelle & Leah.  Also with some of my girlfriends -- Tiffany and Gretchen.  Amelia has been very cooperative and this has made the days at home MUCH more endurable.

This week Amelia has also been bonding with her Dad.  Bill has been working very hard on his thesis lately and so Amelia has been spending a lot more time with me than with him.  As a result, she wasn't always sure that she liked Bill.  There would be a lot of screaming when I handed her off.  Bill was determined to win her trust, however, and instead of just giving her back to me, he worked hard to impress her.  His efforts have paid off.  He is now just as good at soothing her as I am.

I thought the process of Bill winning over Amelia was a good opportunity for another video.  Here it is.  I call this one "Daddy and Me."  It's longer than the last video, so be patient when it is loading.  That may take some time.
