Back to Baby Kalahurka Main Page July 2,
2009 Below is our latest photo of Baby Kalahurka. We had an ultrasound yesterday and doc says everything looks good. According to the doc (I certainly can't read these things), the baby's head is where the yellow dot is in the top photo and the baby's bottom is where the red dot is. The baby has doubled in size since last week, and that's good. The bottom photo shows that the heart rate was also strong at 170 bpm. Way to go baby! (Can't tell from the still photo, but at the ultrasound, you could actually see and hear a little beating heart -- very cool). This has been a fun week. The doc says that the pregnancy is definitely viable and so we should be fine to share the news with friends and family. We shared with Bill's family yesterday (sent his Dad the good news in a late Father's Day card). I am headed to San Marcos to share with my family this morning. I'm also going to officially post this website today. I guess you can say that the cat is out of the bag :).
