Growing

Amelia is growing quickly.  We had a pediatrician's appointment on Friday and she has officially surpassed the 6 pound mark!  She is not yet on the growth chart, but her doctor said that she is doing well and is slowly catching up. 

New accomplishments for Amelia this past week include eating more, pooping more and more keeping Mom awake at night.  Amelia enjoys being held, and she is learning quickly that screaming usually results in someone promptly picking her up.  Consequently, she screams every time we put her down, unless she is asleep or out and about in her car seat (which for some reason, she likes to sit in).  Bottom line -- she is training Bill and I quite effectively.

I have had a lot of time indoors lately.  To pass the time (when I am not holding baby), I downloaded a video editing software program to use with our video camera.  I'm still learning all the ins and outs of the progras, but here is my first attempt at an Amelia video.  I hope that I will get better with the camera so that more and better videos will be coming soon:
