Weekend Fun

Well, my pregnancy blog has officially transformed into a baby blog.  I had intended only to continue this website through the time that Amelia was born, but due to popular demand (mostly the need to keep grandparents supplied with updates and new photos), we are going to keep it going for a while.  I figure that it is easy enough to do, at least until I have to go back to work.

This weekend, we got a small reprieve from being stuck indoors.  On Saturday, Amelia and I took a day trip to San Marcos to visit with Nanny and Paw Paw.  While we were there, Aubrey and Sandra dropped in.  Amelia also got to meet Uncle Nathan.  An added bonus was that our friends, the Farrs, were having an open house in celebration of Steven Farr's new book publication (Teaching as Leadership).  Amelia and I used the invitation as an excuse to drop in and see some old friends.  It was really nice visiting with the Farrs, and especially meeting Steven's family.

Yesterday was a WONDERFUL day.  The sun finally came out and the temperature warmed up to almost 70 degrees.  Bill and I jumped on the opportunity to go for a walk in our neighborhood.  Bill and Amelia tried out the Ergo (or as Bill calls it, the "baby holster") for the first time.  Amelia really seemed to like riding in it, and so as the weather gets warmer, we will look forward to many more such walks.

Below are a couple of photos from the weekend.  Enjoy!
