It has been a rough week.  Bill defends his thesis this coming Thursday and so he has justifiably been VERY busy with his math.  This left Amelia and I pretty much to our own devices.  Normally this would be okay, but coincidentally my immune system decided to crash the same week and I caught the worst cold that I can remember ever having.  Sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching, stuffy head, fever, can't rest and also can't take any medicine for any of the above symptoms due to breastfeeding.  Needless to say, it made me quite cranky.  The good news is that Amelia didn't catch my cold.  She got a stuffy nose and produced a lot of snot.  That made her cranky too (and caused her to wake up a lot at night), but it would have been a lot worse if she had suffered the full impact of whatever I had.

We both felt a lot better today though.  Things are definitely looking up.  Our noses have stopped running and we get our Bill back after Thursday.  We are really looking forward to that!  Here is a cute photo of Amelia from this week.  It's her "spring" outfit.  Next week (assuming Bill successfully defends his thesis) we have some VERY special daddy and me photos planned.  Stay tuned for those!
