THE GREAT ELLISON SLEEPOVER
2009
(August 21 - August 23, 2009)

It's that time of year again.  Time to celebrate the end of summer with another GREAT ELLISON SLEEPOVER!! 

This year we kept things pretty simple, staying in Austin, but at the same time coming up with some creative ways to have fun.  The kids arrived Friday afternoon.  We kicked off the party with a trip to Steak and Shake (for burgers and milkshakes) followed by a movie (Shorts) and then a trip to Blazer Laser for some laser tag and video games.  Saturday morning, we were up early for a hike around town lake, breakfast at Magnolia Cafe and then some "Messy Games" (see photos below).  In the afternoon, we went to see the circus, dinner at Mangia Pizza followed by some more fun and video games.  Sunday morning was breakfast and then we packed things up and called it a weekend.  I don't know about the kids, but if you ask me, the summer and sleepover weekend go by way too quickly.  I had a blast.
